This right here is Samuel August DePetro . He was a SGT in E Company, 11th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division. DePetro was born on 6/7/1920  and died on 9/8/44 of wounds received in action at the “Horseshoe Woods” during the Moselle river crossing at Dornot, France near Metz, France. He was from Marquette, Michigan, USA
