Free World War 2 Battlefield Tour!

This battlefield tour focusses on the Southern Shoulder of the Battle of the Bulge. In the village of Berdorf, this guided tour takes you back in time to relive the past and witness historical locations and battlefield sites that were part of the Battle of the Bulge. Focussing on both the 4th and 5th U.S. Infantry Division, my work gives a great overview of the cold winter days in this little village near the German border.

Currently I’m a History Student at the Leiden Univeristy in The Netherlands. I grew up spending my summer holidays in the area of Berdorf and know it very well. After a years of battlefield exploring and reading I think I have written a great account of what happend in Berdorf during the Battle of the Bulge

What’s different about this tour compared to other tours?
First of all, my tour is not just a tour. It lets you relive the past in the surrounding woods and streets of Berdorf. Once you finish the tour, you will feel attached to this little village like no other. The reason for this, because my tours use a wide variety of resources and personal account to tell you what happened in the streets and woods during the very cold winter of 1944-1945.

Second, no GPS or Personal Tour Guide is needed! You can do this tour all by yourself using a car, bike or, if you’re an avid hiker, go on foot!

Third, it’s COMPLETELY FREE! All you have to do is download it and print it out. Just follow the instructions and you’re ready to go!
